How to order your commissioned portrait:

The quality of the portrait depends on your photo. You can send as many as you wish from different angles. It is very important to have a clear, up-close shot with very good lighting to make every detail prominent. You can take indoor or outdoor shots with sufficient lighting. Avoid direct sunlight when taking picture as it may cause the subject to squint their eyes or create a very dark shadow. Remember to have fun when photo shooting ,advise your subject to relax in order to capture some good personality and character, you’ll be amaze just how convincing those pictures come out.

To save time have your pictures ready before making your inquiry. You can send them by mail or a CD if you preferred, with a guaranteed return or in your email as an attachment in JPEG format file and a reply will be sent as soon as possible to let you know if the pictures are suitable to use for painting a portrait. I can discuss with you which medium will be most suitable for your portrait, not unless you have your wishes. Orders will be done on a first come first serve basis. Remember clear photos make better portraits.

Payment & Shipping:

A 50% deposit is required to save your slot. All payments are accepted through Paypal from my Paypal logo on my website or by check made payable to Evelyn O. Bridges. Shipment will follow after payment and check has cleared.

An email notification will be sent to you when the portrait is done so you can view it online. The remainder of the payment plus shipping will only be required after the completion of the portrait. Once it’s received, you will be informed that your portrait is on it’s way with a tracking delivery number. All custom portraits will be shipped unframed, either securely rolled or in a flat pack, whichever way is suitable for you.

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel your commission, please notify me as soon as possible. A charge will occur once your portrait has already been started for the time spent working on it.
